Welcome to the Swami Vivekananda Students Welfare Charitable Trust - this Trust has no administrative costs, therefore, all donated money is used to meet the education costs of young girls in India. These girls study in classes from Grade 9 to College. Their education is paid by the interest received from fixed deposit bank accounts that have been created by generous donors in India and other countries - thanks for your support. Since 1996, the Trust has paid scholarships of over US $200,000 for the education of 22,600 girls.

Once,
while Basanti Manihar was celebrating an annual function of a girl's
school in Jodhpur, the Divine Mother blessed Basanti Manihar with the thought of forming a Students Charitable Trust and that whoever would
associate with this sacred work would always be showered with the Mother's blessings.
By the
grace of the Divine Mother (Maa Tripursundari and with the inspiration of Maa Sharda Mani and Lord
Ramakrishna Paramhansa), this Students Welfare Charitable Trust was established by Basanti Manihar in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India.
On June 10, 1996, the Trust was created and funded under the guidance of Nand Kishore Sharda. The Trust is fully dedicated to the education of needy girls in schools and
colleges without any discrimination of religion and caste.
